OK! ALRIGHT ALREADY!!!!

Lately I have been getting a lot of lipservice from the peanut gallery about posting to my blog. Here goes nothing.

It was a great pleasure meeting fellow bloggers of the past weekend. It was a blast! I am hoping that we could make it happen more often than not. Later tonight I will post some of the photos from that event.

ON BEING DAPPER D...

For all just getting to know me, I am Dapper D. The most Dapper on the block. Being DAPPER is not just in the style of clothing that I wear, but its an attitude, a state of mind. I hail from New Orleans, LA., born and farm raised 17 years before moving to Atlanta to attend undergrad at Clark Atlanta University. I must admit Atlanta was one of the best moves of my life. I lived in Atlanta for four years then moved to Savannah for grad school at SCAD for X amount of years before moving to Jersey City where I have resided and accumulated parking tickets for the past two years.

I tend to receive a lot of hate, from "players" or the lack there of, due to the fact that I am expressive in my wear and am not afraid to try new things. I am the brother who don't mind wearing the plaids, bowties, pinks or salmons (jackets, pants or shirts) colorful shoes or hats on any given day. By doing so I was given the name Dapper D by a number of folks in the area. I have no fear of these things,possibly because of by background in the arts, which is my reason for coming to New York along with the billions of other artist employed and "between jobs". I am currently employed in the media industry, working my way to the top of my craft.
